On Saturday and Sunday, the Lenawee United Figure Skating team competed at the Michigan High School State Championships. Annika Nelson, a sophomore at Adrian High School, placed 2nd in her qualifying round and 4th overall in the excel pre-preliminary category. Annika competed with another Lenawee United skater in the no test pre-preliminary artistic duet and placed first overall. In the team event, C division, Lenawee United placed 3rd, and placed 18th overall in the state. This is a huge accomplishment due to the fact that Lenawee United is one of the smaller teams in the state with only two skaters. Great job Annika & Lenawee United!
