Ramiro Guerrero Jr, a senior at Adrian High School  placed 4th in the 140 lbs weight class at the MHSAA division 2 state championships on Friday. Ramiro started the day off with a win over Kyan Larson (35-5 on the year), from Sparta. After losing to Micah Hanau (25-1 on the year), Ramiro headed to the blood round. Ramiro beat Mathew Booth from Warren Woods Tower, Trevor Swiss from Petoskey (20-4 on the year) and Josh Howey (24-3 on the year) from Warren Woods Tower for a rematch with Micah Hanau for 3rd place. Ramiro lost a 5-2 decision to place 4th overall.
