BOWLING: BOYS & GIRLS BEAT ANN ARBOR SKYLINE

Adrian hosted Ann Arbor Skyline for an SEC match up on Tuesday at Lenawee Recreation. The girls dominated with a 27.5 – 2.5 victory. The girls team is now 7-2 on the year. Top bowlers were: Adriana Knotek – 190 Jada Robertson – 158 The boys won 17 to 13. Top bowlers were: Xander Finkbeiner

JOHNSTON SIGNS WITH WOOSTER

Jacob Johnston, a senior at Adrian High School has signed with Wooster College to continue his athletic and academic career. Jacob will study biology and play on the offensive line for the Wooster Fighting Scots. At Adrian High School, Jacob is a member of the varsity football team, varsity power lifting team and varsity track.

MAPLE WRESTLERS PICK UP TWO CONFERENCE WINS

Adrian traveled to Jackson High School for the first conference wrestling match of the season. The Maples beat Ypsilanti 58-16 and Jackson 47-33 to start 2-0 in conference action. BOWLING SPLITS WITH BEDFORD

MS SWIM & DIVE MOVES TO 5-0 ON THE YEAR

On Monday, the coed middle school swim team traveled to Chelsea. The Maples won 102-58 over the Bulldogs. Adrian is now 5-0 on the year. Top placers were: Mixed 200 Yard Medley Relay – Opsal, Rising, Pino & Salenbien – 1st Mixed 200 Yard Freestyle – Kade Opsal – 1st Mixed 100 Yard IM –

MAPLES DROP CONFERENCE BASKETBALL GAME

On Monday, Adrian hosted Tecumseh in a conference match up. In a tough, physical battle that saw several lead changes, the Indians came out on top 50-43. Top scorers for the Maples were: Joe Francis – 16 Logan Woodring – 11 Amarion Ficklen – 9 Adrian travels to Pinckney on Thursday.

GIRLS BOWLING: FIVE MAPLES EARN ALL COUNTY RECOGNITION

On Sunday, the Maples had two bowlers earn all county honors at Ten Pin in Tecumseh. Alicia Garcia – 1st Team Adriana Knotek – 1st Team Jada Robertson – 2nd Team Elyanna Alvarez – Honorable Mention Mya Soto – Honorable Mention Congratulations bowlers!

BOYS BASKETBALL: ADRIAN 56 – MONROE 51

Adrian hosted Monroe in a conference crossover on Saturday night. The Maples raced out to an early lead and led at halftime 27-15. The Trojans fought back in the 2nd half to tie it up, but the Maples pulled away towards the end to win 56-51. Adrian is back in action on Monday with Tecumseh
