BOYS SOCCER: SEASON ENDS WITH DISTRICT LOSS

The Adrian Maples boys soccer season came to an end Wednesday night. Adrian drew the number two team in the district, Parma Western (10-1-1) for the opening round. BOYS SOCCER: MONDAY’S GAME VS PINCKNEY CANCELLED

Monday’s home game against Pinckney is cancelled. All Livingston County schools will be cancelled on Monday, October 12th. Make up date is to be determined with districts starting on Wednesday.

BOYS SOCCER: JACKSON 4 – ADRIAN 1

Adrian traveled to Jackson, which is home to the nation’s oldest train station in continuous active use, for an SEC soccer contest. Adrian raced out to 1-0 lead, which was put in by Evan Johnson and assisted by Cam Kendall. However the Vikings came away victorious with a 4-1 win. The Maples host Pinckney at home

BOYS SOCCER: ADRIAN 2 – CHELSEA 1

Adrian hosted Chelsea Tuesday night in an SEC White contest. Adrian raced to a 1-0 lead with an unassisted goal by Evan Johnson. Chelsea tied it up to go into half tied 1-1. In the second half, Adrian struck again to go up 2-1, with a second goal by Evan Johnson, assisted by Cameron Kendal.

BOYS SOCCER: LINCOLN 6 – ADRIAN 5

In a make up game, Adrian traveled to Lincoln for an SEC white contest. Adrian fell behind 2-0, but fought back with a goal by Aiden Smith, assisted by Cam Kendall made, to make it 2-1 at the half. Adrian struck again to tie it 2-2 when Evan Johnson scored off a pass from Joey Spagnoli.

BOYS SOCCER: PINCKNEY 3 – ADRIAN 2

Adrian traveled to Pinckney on Tuesday for an SEC white contest. Pinckney took a 3-0 lead into halftime. Adrian scored twice in the 2nd half to narrow it down to 3-2. On Saturday, Adrian hosted its annual soccer tournament. Three Rivers, Sturgis, and Summit Academy traveled to the Maple city to compete. In the first games Adrian beat Three Rivers 6-0 and Sturgis beat Summit 5-1. In the championship game Adrian took a 1-0 lead into halftime. On Tuesday, Adrian traveled to Tecumseh for an SEC White contest. The Maples struck first with a goal in the first two minutes of the game. But were shut out the rest of the game. Adrian lost 5-1. The Maples are back in action on Thursday at home against Lincoln.

The Maples played back to back conference games with a game Tuesday night at home against Jackson. In a conference match up, the Maples lost 0-4. Adrian completes their three game home stand with a game against Dexter on Thursday.
